As an educator, I strive to have my students’ try different ideas and different approaches to problems. We, as a society, have stamped out a lot of seeds of creativity. All we are doing is teaching children to identify a “solution” from whatever chapter we are working on (or whatever concept we are covering). We don’t teach thinking as much as we teach rigorous rote. It is a sad state of affairs when in our society, being intelligent is not having a brain that can think and cover the possibilities and then come up with the best solution; but by saying the exact same thing as everyone else – I am smart, and since you are saying the exact same thing, then if follows that you must also be smart.
That being said, I believe that Sarah Palin is someone who can “think for herself” and see solutions to problems that escape the “same-old, same-old” politicians. It is her “fresh” approach and her willness to try “new and different” things that would make her an outstanding President! She has my vote! I would love to see positive change in this country, and I think Mrs. Palin is the person to do just that!

The world will not remember you as an American president by the time you die, but with your contacts and your supporters you are able to create a bigger foundation than Bill and Melinda Gates! Just do not base it on religios beliefs but on the will to really help people. There is a whole number of young, well educated people from the all over the world, and they are for sure willing to do whatever is possible to improve the world’s standard of living. Guide them and by the time I die your organisation will be bigger than Unicef and you really made a diffenrence.

Definitely Govenor Palin should run for President in 2012. Initially I didn’t think she would be a good candidate. However, seeing her speak on television and in addition, reading her book Going Rogue, I have a different perspective about her. She is intelligent and articulate and does not speak merely in platitudes as Charles Krauthammer said on The O’Reilly Factor recently. She does understand issues and her commen sense solutions to getting our nation stronger domestically and internationally are welcomed rhetoric for me. It appears to be the popular trend to bad mouth Gov. Palin. I have read posts and really there are no substantive arguments why she is not qualified, there is plenty of personal opinion and perception why she should not run. I would be proud & honored to be a part of a grass roots campaign for Gov. Palin to run in 2012. Being a female, hispanic and living in the southwest, she has my support! Sarah Palin is an intelligent, down-to-earth conservative who has leadership potential in Washington. However, I do not believe she is the best Republican candidate for the 2012 Presidential race since I do not believe she can win. I think she would make a great Vice President.
In my opinion, she is light on experience and she can be polarizing. Furthermore, I have seen her on The O’Reilly Factor and she did not provide a specific answer to his question regarding her approach to solving illegal immigration. Her response was “I will do whatever it takes to control the border.” Wow!! What a response.

I think Palin is intelligent person with strong conservative convictions but I don’t think she is and/or will be ready in 2012 to successfully beat Obama. I believe she is great polarizing figure for the GOP party but she just doesn’t have that extra “political-mojo” (in my opinion) to win.

I’ve seen what Obama has done so far and nothing he has done has in anyway helped the USA.
